Allah's Apostle said, "Recite (and study) the Quran as long as you are
in agreement as to its interpretation and meanings, but when you have
differences regarding its interpretation and meanings, then you should
stop reciting it (for the time being.) (See Hadith No 581, Vol. 6)...

A silken cloak was presented to the Prophet and he used to forbid the
usage of silk (by men). When the people were fascinated by the cloak.
he said, "By Allah in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is, the
handkerchiefs of Sad bin Mu'adh in Paradise are better than this."...
